Présentation de l'étude de marché - Description & Table des matières
 Honey in China

This updated Access Asia report on the development of the market for honey in China deals largely with ongoing developments in the sector as it restructures. The report deals with both foreign companies in the sector, local initiatives and production.
The report coves the market for honey in China. It covers retail sales, consumption, production, foreign trade and bee keeping in China. The market for honey in China has fluctuated in recent years due to weather conditions, the impact of some bee disease and export demands. Consumption of honey in China has been growing steadily since 1995, despite a decline following the problematic harvest of 1998. Despite a decline in production in 1998 and 1999, China remains the world’s biggest honey producer and exporter. The number of bee colonies in China has declined in the past few years from a high of 6.5 million to 6.3 million in 1999. China is a major exporter of honey, largely to Japan, Europe and the USA. Honey imports have also risen as demand for specialist honeys has grown.
