In 2005, China construction machinery industry developed smoothly. Equal operational revenues occurred in each quarter. It is estimated that the aggregate sales revenue will reach about 116 billion RMB with a profit of 4 billion RMB, which represents a 30% decrease compared to 2004. There was a steep increase in exportation of hoisting machinery but the importation decreased during January-to-July of 2005. On the whole, the import export trade maintains a good momentum. According to the customs figures, the import export trade of various hoisting machinery achieved 4.671 billion dollars, a 3.86% increase compared to the same period of 2004. Of which, the total import achieved 2.452 billion dollars, a 23.2% decrease compared to the same period of 2004, while the total export obtained 2.218 billion dollars with an increase rate of 70.4% compared to the same period of 2004. The trade deficit was reduced. It is expected that the construction machinery industry will develop steadily in 2006.
The report consists of four parts including the current situation of the construction machinery industry, construction machinery products development forecast in 2006, Strategic options for competition and development of the construction machinery industry in 2006, and investment suggestions for the construction machinery industry in 2006.
The report is based on the data from authorities such as China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA), the Machinery Industry Association, the State Information Center and National Bureau Statistics of China.
The report mainly serves construction machinery manufacturing enterprises, leasing enterprises and financial groups interested in the industry.
