The global market for automotive parts and equipment is defined as the aftermarket only. It excludes all tires, and also excludes parts and equipment for medium and heavy vehicles. The global market for tires and rubber is composed of the replacement tire market for passenger cars and light trucks, and excludes both tires sold as parts of new vehicles, and also tires for medium and heavy vehicles.
Revenues are given at retail sales price (RSP), and include all relevant taxes and levies. The market shares provided are based on Datamonitor estimates of aftermarket revenues where these are not publicly available.
